The scholarship fund was founded by and named after Pastor Lucas to support students that wish to further thier education.

Proceeds from the GFC Golf Tournament benefit the Carl A. Lucas, Sr. Scholarship Fund.

Helping Hands Ministry

This ministry goes out into the community for hands on service thru preparing & serving meals at shelters, home maintenance on the homes of the disabled, food & personal care item drives for those in need and much, much more.

Evening of Elegance Dinner & Auction

God First enjoyed an evening of Adult Christian Elegance all inclusive with dinner, music and a live/silent auction. August 2011

Each August for the past 14 years the TERRACE SHEARD FOUNDATION & God First Church sponsor a back to school celebration in honor of Terrance Sheard to provide needed school supplies to deserving youth. This is not your ordinary giveaway. Games, food and fun are on the agenda. The Sheards would not have it any other way!

GAMES, SPECIAL GIVE-AWAYS, FREE SCHOOL SUPPLIES, REFRESHMENTS, and FUN FUN FUN for the youth.
